The Green Ledger Review was inspired by our experience at Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions and our belief that sustainability should be experienced, not just reported. Guided by Herbert Cooray’s philosophy that “hospitality cannot exist isolated from the local communities and the environment” and that “no two hotels are the same,” we created a platform that bridges the gap between sustainability reports and real-world hospitality operations.
We believe sustainability cannot be understood through reports and ratings alone. Through research, ESG benchmarking, educational resources, and strategic initiatives, we aim to provide a more transparent and human-centered view of sustainable hospitality.
Alongside this, The Green Ledger Culture serves as our media and storytelling platform, created to highlight Sri Lanka through conscious travel, sustainable hospitality, wellness, culture, and environmental storytelling. Through photography, video content, and digital media, we aim to showcase the beauty, sustainability, and cultural identity of Sri Lanka while promoting responsible tourism and environmental awareness.
We support sustainability education and environmental initiatives in Sri Lanka, promoting responsible tourism, recycling awareness, and community impact.
while contributing to SDGs 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 15.
